Widdershins Eve (also known as Upside Down Day) is a holiday observed only by voles. It takes place on 14 November and involves their doing everything backwards. Supper replaces breakfast and the daily chores are done at nightfall. Articles of clothing are worn backwards and greetings are changed to farewells. It is thought best to leave voles alone on this day as it can be confusing to interact with them.
